A 'Workforce' Ecosystem Orchestration Framework for Digital Health

Updated: May 18, 2023

In 2020, MIT Sloan Management Review and Deloitte began to publish research into what they called 'Workforce Ecosystem Orchestration'. This is broadly deemed to be a framework which addressed the key activities, systems or technologies essential to unlock the power of the workforce or staff to "improve organisational performance.'

What is a Digital Ecosystem?

Paradigm have just launched training into (Level 1) of their 'Ecosystem Orchestration' model of framework. This framework initially began to seriously emerge as early as 2017, and began to be used, successfully within the large hospital it was originally developed for. It essentially aims to define or set out a 'People' or Staff 'Digital' Ecosystem or an 'Ecosystem Orchestration Framework' for all staff, or actors (both internal, and external to the hospital/ organisation), namely all those involved in implementing Digital, particularly in large Hospitals, or Health organisations. As such it could be applied to all types of Health organisations, from Trusts/ Hospitals, or the directly patient-facing to the more 'business'-oriented, regulatory Health organisations that administer the public-sector NHS.
